Our prior president Lori Buchart has just finished her dissertation and has resigned as the President of the student council. Information to follow on her thesis. The student council has elected a new president in Wes Zaboschuk. Wes has served on the student council for 1.5 years and initiated the student profile project found on the SMC website. He is joined by Richard Miller , and Chris Moos as other members of the student council. If you have any student issues you can direct questions to the members or post on this blog.
With new leadership come new ideas, new opportunities for SMC to forge ahead. I am looking forward to working with present student council in order to recruit new members. In a short while we will ask for interested parties to be nominated for student council representation. This will more than likely take place in August.
It is a pleasure to serve as your president and I look forward to working with the student body.

Richard Miller - Vice President

Richard Miller
Currently a DBA student, he received his MBA from the university of Liverpool, Masters in Education from Temple University (Philadelipha) and BA and BA Honours from Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada). He is teaching at the Hirao Management School at Konan University in Nishinomiya, Japan as well as Dentsu University in Osaka as a lecturer. He is a Canadian living in Kobe, Japan with his wife and two young children.

Joseph Chris Moos - DIRECTOR

Chris is the Director of an International Trade Center with over 25 years of business experience including such positions as: CFO, COO and CEO for Domestic and International Corporations. He is also an Assistant Professor of International Business and he has taught Adjunct Faculty (International Business), U. S. Navy (Officer Leadership & Management), and English as a Second Language (ESL).
Academics: Chris holds a B.S. and MBA from Wichita State University, Naval Logistics from Naval Supply Corps School. He is also a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP).
