Happy New Year

Dear Fellow Students, Professors and Administrators,

Of first priority we wish to thank the SMC administration and its directors for all the great help, diligence and focus that they have shown to the students, the programs and the student council through 2007. The course of study at SMC is only made better through their continued support and dedication and we all remain very grateful for this.

Secondly, and as important, a great thanks go out to all the professors who have given their time and energy to all the students in all the programs. It goes without saying that without the dedication of the professors none of this would be possible, so a great wish of thanks to each and everyone for their special knowledge and love of teaching.

For those mentioned above and to all our fellow students please accept the student council’s wishes on a happy and healthy New Year. We hope that it brings everyone the best of success personally, professionally and of course academically. The student council is confident that along with the SMC administration and our professors 2008 will bring interesting opportunities for growth and continued success building on the fantastic progress in 2007 which saw new professors, many new students, new graduates, the new student council blog site, new student council members, and ACBSP accreditation just to name a few.

For students 2008 will mean more work, more assignments, more papers and more studying. But, it will also mean new study partners, new professors, new challenges and new knowledge. Keep up the commitment and strong work ethic and 2008 is sure to be another stellar year for the SMC as we all make it happen.
